Mariah Carey sings at 'Plot Your Escape,' 1st concert since twins' birth
Mariah Carey recently performed for the first time since giving birth to her and husband Nick Cannon's twins almost one year ago.

The 41-year-old singer wore a black Chanel dress sang several of her hits, such as "Hero," "Touch my Body," "We Belong Together" and the Jackson 5 cover "I'll Be There" and a new version of her 2005 song "Shake It Off" at th! e free " Plot Your Escape" concert in New York City on Thursday, March 1.
Diddy served as her opening act and the concert also featured an appearance from Mel B of the Spice Girls.
Carey gave birth to twins Monroe and Moroccan, who also go by "Roc and Roe,"on April 30, 2011 via Caesarean section. She Cannon married on that date three years beforehand.
Her husband, who is recovering after battling a series of health ailments, recently posted a YouTube video of Carey performing "Shake It Off" at the "Plot Your Escape" concert.
"It was great to be able to go and see her back on stage doing her thing," Cannon said on his website on Friday.
The "Plot Your Escape" gig is part of a four-show concert series, which is sponsored by Caesars Entertainment's "Escape to Total Rewards" program and was streamed online.
Rapper Lil Wayne and R&B star Cee Lo Green of the NBC singing contest series "The Voice," performed in Los Angeles. Rock band Maroon 5, whose lead singer Adam Levine also stars in "The Voice," and pop and soul singer Sara Bareilles performed in Chicago.
R&B singer Mary J. Blige and rock singer Gavin DeGraw, who was recently revealed to be a celebrity contestant on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," sang in! New Orl eans.
Also on Thursday, Carey donned a fairy princess costume and christened the new Disney cruise ship Fantasy in New York.
