Mariah Carey Makes Career Comeback- Artists We'd Like to See Her Collaborate With

Mariah Carey

Last week Mariah Carey made a career comeback in NYC when she performed at "Plot Your Escape: Four Concerts. Countless Celebrities. 1 Epic Night" by Caesar's Entertainment." Only 10 months ago the singing sensation gave birth to twins and in recent months the star has been making sure her hubby, Nick Cannon, is staying healthy after some pretty serious health scares. Other major musicians performed at the musical event including P. Diddy, Lil' Wayne, Maroon 5, and more.

Critics raved about Carey's performance making both fans and music industry professionals alike excited for the diva's next musical performance. So who will Carey work with next? We have a few suggestions.

Drake

Drake is quickly becoming the main star in hip-hop, getting wider acclaim and fame than his mentor Lil' Wayne. Drake has worked with stars like Rihanna and bff Nicki Minaj before so we think his edgy musical mannerisms and unique production talents would be just the thing for Mimi's next album. The Canadian born rapper loves singing about women and relationships and Carey is quite the love song aficionado herself. Will these two come up with the perfect song about love and heartbreak?

Beyonce

Mariah has worked with Whitney Houston, Brian McKnight, and Babyface in the past but she has yet to do any real collaborations in her most recent musical attempts. Beyonce and Mariah are longtime friends and we think these two would be perfect on a soulful R&B record together.

The Weeknd

The Weeknd worked with Drake on his most recent album "Take Care" along with other hip hop stars and although he's more known on the indie scene of R&B, his alternative flavor of music could be just the thing Mariah needs in the! studio on her next project. When The Weeknd coos, "I'm what you need" we could definitely picture Mariah's soft vocals in the background. Do you see Mariah working with The Weeknd or is the diva much too big for a guy like that?

Katy Perry

Katy is one of pop music's biggest princesses right now and Mariah knows a thing or two about that considering how huge her career was in the '90s. With songs like "Touch My Body" and "Up Out My Face" we know Mariah loves to have fun with her music. We'd love to see what kind of kooky collaboration these two stars could come up with. Will Mariah turn back to her pop music roots?
