Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey plan special birthday for twins

Nick Cannon has said that he and Mariah Carey are planning a memorable birthday for their twins Moroccan and Monroe.

The couple, whose children will celebrate their first birthday on April 30, will spend the day somewhere special. Though Cannon refused to give specific details on the event, he did say that it will be "unique".

"We're going away," he told People "We're taking a break. It's going to be exciting. We're doing something special and something unique."

The actor, who revealed in March that he suffers from a "lupus-type" autoimmune disease, went on to say that he can't believe how quickly the year has gone by.

"It's amazing," Cannon said of being a father. "It goes by so fast."

Cannon has been forced to go on a healthy diet following his health scare.
