Mariah Carey has a new family and now a new body.
Six months after welcoming twins Moroccan and Monroe with husband Nick Cannon, the 41-year-old Grammy award-winning artist graces the cover US Weekly displaying her newly toned and lean body.
In July, three months after giving birth, Carey enlisted the help of Jenny Craig, which is now just called Jenny, to create a nutrition and workout plan to slim down.
Within a period of three months, she lost 30 pounds by adhering to a 1,500 calorie a day diet and exercising three times a week.
I feel incredible, the singer said of her bodys transformation.
Carey says she doesnt regret having the twins, but it did take a toll on her body.
It was a huge blessing to be able to have the babies, she said. But I felt trapped in my body because I couldnt move.
On Wednesday Carey was named the new spokesperson of Jenny, following in the footsteps of celebrities such as Carrie Fisher and Valerie Bertinelli.
