'American Idol's' Nicki Minaj wears racy outfit, tells Mariah Carey to 'simmer down'

Nicki Minaj wore a revealing outfit on "American Idol" Wednesday night, while sparring with co-host Mariah Carey.

Nicki Minaj's stint as an "American Idol" judge has mostly been characterized by her tension with Mariah Carey and her tendency to slip into a faux-British accent, but it was the diva's eyebrow-raising dress that had Twitter buzzing during Wednesday night's show.

One Twitter user thought the garment looked like a Dsquared2 dress, on sale here for $865.

Minaj also laid into Carey over contestant Kree Harrison's "She Talks to Angels." When the two bickered over the quality of the performance, Minaj turned to Carey and said, "Simmer down, sir."
