Mariah Carey poses in swimming pool in a ball gown (as you do), looks loved up on holiday

Mariah Carey did nothing to shake that diva tag when she leapt in her swimming pool, fully clothed for a bit of a posy Twitpic session yesterday.

Because who doesn't post pics like this on Facebook?

Well, if we had a swimming pool and someone to clean our clothes afterward we might be slightly more inclined.

But until then, we will be leaving things like this to celeb land.

Mariah reckons she is embracing her 'inner mermaid' in the shots which she posted on her Facebook page.

The star, 43, posted this snap earlier on in the evening with the caption: "The pool looks great..jump in? Why not! #splash."

And so she did just that, in her evening dress.

Until it started to rain, at which point she posted a follow up snap with the caption: "Having a mermaid moment in the nice water.. and then it rained!"

Mariah is currently on her holidays with her husband Nick Cannon and their babies, two-year-old twins named Monroe and Moroccan (and no, we still can't believe the names).

And it looks like the couple are having a very relaxing, loved up time.

We know this because in between leaping into swimming pools in evening wear, Mariah has been keeping us kindly updated with endless holiday snaps.
