Mariah Carey And Nicki Minaj 'Call American Idol Truce'
Curtis Sabir/WENNReportedly American Idol divas Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are feuding, which we'd have thought would be no big surprise, after all when divas collide the effect is often like a supernova, explosive.
Yet apparently after getting off on the wrong foot the pair of judges are set to bury the hatchet (and not in each others' backs).
"American Idol" sources told TMZ that: "Mariah and others were ticked off Sunday that Nicki arrived 45 minutes late ... and that set the tone for the whole day".
Show boss 'Nasty' Nigel Lythgoe predictably said everything was utterly fine on Sunday, but the gossip site alleges that: "Mariah talked over Nicki, criticizing her critiques, and Nicki fired right back."

However the pair have denied the feud, although Mariah sounded pretty unconvincingly when she said that a feud takes "a little longer".
TMZ reports that after their disagreements: "Mariah buttonholed Nicki and the 2 agreed ... a feud wouldn't be good for the show, so they buried the hatchet and walked down the hall smiling, hand-in-h! and."
Is Mariah right though, surely a feud between one of America's premiere divas and an up and coming and outspoken rapper would be UNMISSABLE telly.
