Mariah Carey to Judge American Idol Season 12
Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez are out! Whos next on American Idol judges list? Rumors has it, the 42-year-old diva, Mariah Carey, is reportedly joining Randy Jackson as one of the new judges of American Idol Season 12.
They are in serious talks with Mariah and its very close to being a done deal, said the source about Careys potential future as an Idol judge. And they will move Randy into a more mentoring role.
Other celebrities like Idol alum Adam Lambert is also considered to join the list of judges. They have been talking about Adam for over a month, a source told E! News. He personifies the show, and will be a popular choice right from the start. He knows what its like to be on the receiving end of the judges comments, he has a human touch, and they know they cant go wrong if they bring him on. He would be able to bring a unique perspective to the show. People love him.
American Idol Season 12 is set to premiere this September.
