Pop singer Mariah Carey has been keeping her fans informed about her husband and Americas Got Talent host Nick Cannon and his kidney illness on Twitter. On Friday, she announced that he should be leaving the hospital within two days.

News that Cannon was dealing with mild kidney failure broke when Carey tweeted Wednesday a photo of the two in the hospital, with Carey lying next to Cannon. She asked her fans to, Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman

On Wednesday, Carey also spoke to People, saying that "the situation is not easy" and that, even though he is in stable condition, he is "in a lot of pain."

Cannon and Carey were spending the holidays in Aspen, CO when he fell ill. He later tweeted that he was being transferred to a Los Angeles hospital.

Friday afternoon, Carey posted a picture of the two at the hospital again, this time she kissed Cannon while he was on his laptop and Get Well Soon balloons filled the room. She added, Thank you everyone for all the love & concern.

According to People, in Careys next tweet, she confirmed that Cannon is doing better. She wrote, Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged within 2 days. As always he's laughing and ! in good spirits.

Cannon also added Saturday morning that he is Recovering...about to be stronger than ever!

The Los Angeles Times reports that experts believe that Cannon could really be suffering from an acute kidney failure, which is termed as a "silent" disease. Dr. Madeleine Pahl, chief of nephrology at UC Irvine Medical Center told the LA Tiems that it is a disease that would probably go unnoticed by the patient until he or she reports to the hospital with pain.
