One should dress accordingly when honoring a supreme diva. Its a good thing Kelly Rowland got the memo. From her big hair, berry-colored dress with one sleeve and a high slit on the red carpet to her sassy little sparkly gold number on the stage, Kelly looked positively divalicious to pay tribute to Mariah Carey at the 2012 BET Honors taping last night (January 14) at the Warner Theatre in Washington DC. Of course, MiMi was there to receive her praises, looking stunning with her husband, Nick Cannon, and adorable son, Moroccan, in tow.

The 2012 BET Honors, honoring Mariah, Maya Angelou, Stevie Wonder, Spike Lee, the Tuskegee Airmen, and Beverly Kearney, and featuring performances and appearances by Kelly, Common, Jill Scott, Willow Smith, and Jennifer Hudson, will air on BET on February 13.
