Mariah Carey Gets Nailed With New Polish Line
Ivan Nikolov/WENNMariah Carey may be earning a reported $18m for her job as a judge on American Idol, but that hasn't stopped the star moonlighting like a diva version of Only Fools And Horses' Del-Boy.
The star has decided to join forces with OPI to start her own nail polish line, though given Mariah's expensive tastes, we can't imagine she'll be selling it out of the back of a battered old Robin Reliant.
According to Us magazine,Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director nail product company released a statement saying: "OPI is thrilled to work with Mariah, an industry icon who loves nails and considers lacquer one of her favorite accessories,"
"With her magnetic personality both on and off the stage, Mariah serves as a great inspiration for beautiful, bold colors."
So it seems Mariah is set to become quite the celeb wheeler dealer, flogging nail polish inbetween prime time TV appearances and her musical career. She's in good company though, following in the footsteps of Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry and Serena Williams.
We only hope that unlike the real Del-Boy, the 'Heartbreaker' singer doesn't develop a habit of falling through bars, as it might mess up the extravagant looks that she cultivates, nail polish and all.
