It is a rider worth of a music diva such as Mariah Carey or Jennifer Lopez.

But Nicki Minaj is clearly going up in the music world, if her backstage demands are anything to go by.

In a recent magazine interview, the hip hop star revealed her rider demands not just for herself, but for her huge entourage as well.

Diva demands: Nicki Minaj has revealed her backstage rider and on the list she has asked for a gallon of lemonade, a silverware set and a humidifier - surrounded by pink and white flowers and scented candles

The usual backstage needs are all there, including flowers - two dozen pink or white roses to be precise - scented candles - must smell like baked goods - bottled water and some throat lozenges.

There is also a request for hot tea with lemon and honey, gum, bottled water and Red Bull - again, standard rider demands.

Showgirl: But Nicki says her off-stage persona is much different from the one off-stage that stays at home and cooks and watches TV

But it would also appear that Nicki and her crew are planning a lengthy stay backstage at a gig, with the food demands enough to cover breakfast and lunch.

Ni cki, 29, asks for scrambled egg whites, turkey bacon, toast, Belgian waffles, strawberries, assorted juices and a large fruit platter.

For lunch she demands buckets of spicy fried chicken - no thighs, lot of wings - a large cheese platter, a deli tray filled with cold meats and a set of silverware to help shovel it all down.

Nicki also demands contact lenses solution and case, a humidifier and two Space Heaters, which are noted, in capital letters, as being very important.

However, she will have a way to go before she reaches the rider demands of Mariah Carey, who reportedly once demanded kittens and white doves when she came to London to turn on the Christmas lights at Westfield shopping centre in 2009.

Nicki was doing an interview and photo shoot for the February and March issue of Wonderland magazine, out now.

And despite her diva demands, she insisted that her real life is much different to her on-stage persona.

She said: 'Theyre definitely two completely different people. Obviously what I would wear at home is not what I would wear up on stage and I think, when Im at home its a way more introspective character and I think the person people see on stage is anything but.

'I watch a lot of Judge Judy. And I watch a lot of Forensic Files. And I cook - I cook spaghetti really, really good; I cook macaroni and cheese really, really good; I cook chicken really, really good.'

She also admitted she has an obsession with Barbie because she doesn't just 'focus on beauty'

She added: 'I feel like Barbie is great because it doesnt only focus on beauty - you have Barbies that work, they have tons of different jobs now.

'And they come in different shades, which I love, and different hairstyles.

'So I think that theyve gotten! to the point where theyre making girls feel like its OK not to look like or be like the traditional Barbie.

'Now in terms of a body image, even male action figure dolls are cut up more than the average man - its just how people make dolls!'

Nicki also revealed that she is a big fan of England, especially the capital city and believes she lived there in a past life.

She said: 'I was born in London in my past life, no one can tell me different. I probably was like a queen in London, I was probably the peoples queen that fought for lives... and I probably started off as a maid and then was just, like, really revolutionary and moved all my Barbies into the big queen mansion.'
