Is Mariah Carey Jealous Of Britney Spears' X Factor USA Role?

Mariah Carey has addressed speculation that she may be bitter about Britney Spears' X Factor USA role.

The reknowned diva was initially tipped to sign a deal with Simon Cowell to take up one of the spaces on the judging panel after he sacked Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. Britney Spears was announced as a new judge alongside Demi Lovato earlier this week, but Mariah says she isn't jealous.

"You think I focus on that stuff? Have we met? I love [Britney], honestly," Mariah told Extra.

"I think she's a very nice person, but I don't care who's going on that show - as long as it's not me."
