Thats right folks! After Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez were fired walked away from American Idol, Mariah Carey has been rumored to be in talks with the show about a judging spot. But now, Mariahs husband, Nick Cannon says he wont let Mariah take the gig unless they are willing to pay her $100K. Say what? Read on for more!

Its no surprise that Nick Cannon, host of Americas Got Talent, feels that American Idol cannot afford his wife (or maybe he is just trying to deter her from taking the gig), as he recently told TMZ: If they gave JLo $20 million, they might have to double that, to get Mariah on the show, that is. But now, Cannon is claiming that his wife is worth at least $100K for a judging spot. WHAT?!?!

According to Star Pulse, Nick Cannon explained recentl! y: They want her, I know that but I aint letting her outta the house for less than $100 million. Theyve got to step up if they want that. Thats Mariah Carey, shes got more number ones than anyone ever. Shes the biggest singer/songwriter in the history of music; thats worth something. And whos gonna watch my kids if she goes on American Idol?

Nick Cannon went on to reveal that Mariah Carey is definitely interested in the gig (and in talks with the show), but assured us that producers will have to make it worthwhile for herwere just not sure they will go with $100K worthwhile. He also had no problem sharing his opinion that his wife is worth way more than Jennifer Lopez on the judging panel ouch.

Wow, do you think Mariah Carey is worth $100K? We arent so sure. Do you think Mariah Carey would make a good addition to the Idoljudging panel? Sound off below!
