Divas Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Demi Lovato Surge on Social 50 Chart

Three female pop stars make great leaps up the Social 50 chart this week.

Mariah Carey experiences the biggest positional jump on the tally, rising 46-31 as the addition of 65,000 new Facebook fans pushes her over the 10 million likes mark on the platform, an accomplishment she announced via a post to her page.

The momentum of activity comes along with the debut of her newest single, "Almost Home," from the Disney film "Oz The Great and Powerful." Almost Homes audio, which debuted on Careys VEVO channel on March 1 has only received a meager 100,000 views to date, but the activity still managed to spur a 15% rise in activity to the channel for the week (2.7 million views).

Nicki Minaj moves 16-6 on the tally along with the rising popularity of her song with French Montana, "Freaks." During the charting week (ending March 3), a behind-the-scenes video featuring scenes from the duo's forthcoming music video was shared to Minaj's Facebook page, leading the way to a 29% increase in reaction for the week and the addition of over 136,000 new fans on the platform. She also experienced a bump in Twitter followers, adding 67,000 during the week (up 33%).

The debut of Demi Lovato's official lyric video for her newest single "Heart Attack" leads to a 20-12 rise on the Social 50. The track was released via an interactive online campaign where fans unlocked the clip by tweeting the song's lyrics along with the hashtag "#UnlockHeartAttack." The video received nearly 500,000 views in the three days remaining in the charting week since its March 1 debut. The audio of the song, released to her VEVO page on February 25, has received over 3.7 million views to date. The push has helped Lovato gain 343,000 new fans overall during the week. Heart Attack debuts at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, with 215,000 digital copies sold according to Nielsen Soundscan.

Justin Bieber jumps 4-1 to re-take the throne after debuting the lyric video for "Right Here," featuring Drake. The video ! has received over 2 million global views on VEVO since its release, part of which contributes to the 23 million overall plays he received during the week. Bieber re-gains the No. 1 spot with the addition of 732,000 new fans overall (up 4%).

For the rest of the top 10, Britney Spears remains at No. 2 while Rihanna tumbles (1-3) along with One Direction (3-4). Taylor Swift holds at No. 5, while Justin Timberlake is also a non-mover (No. 7). Bruno Mars steps up (10-8) as does Eminem (11-9), while Beyonce continues to slide (9-10).
