Mariah Carey to headline Glastonbury?

Mariah Carey is reportedly in talks to make her debut as a headliner at Glastonbury.

The singer has emerged as an unexpected choice to join the line-up and is currently in negotiations to take over the Pyramid Stage this summer.

Nothing has been signed yet, but discussions have been opened and both parties seem keen. A source told the Evening Standard.

The festival took a break in 2012 so as not to clash with the London Olympics and to give the site a chance to recover from years mud, willies and beer. But will it also be taking a permanent break from rock music?
