Mariah Carey in talks to headline Glastonbury 2013?

Mariah Carey is reportedly in talks to headline this year's Glastonbury festival.

The singer has allegedly entered into discussion with festival organisers, with both sides apparently keen for the star to take to the Pyramid Stage during the weekend of June 28-30.

"Nothing has been signed yet, but discussions have been opened and both parties seem keen," a source told London's Evening Standard.

Carey's appearance would follow a string of pop acts to headline Glastonbury festival in recent years, with Beyonc topping the bill back in 2011.

Jay-Z also divided opinion when he headlined the event back in 2008, while Kylie Minogue was due to play before she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005.

The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Rihanna have all been linked to headline shows on the Pyramid Stage, but Glastonbury will not reveal the line-up until closer to the music event.
