Are you ready for some football? More specifically, the entertainment lined up for the NFL 2012-2013 season opener between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys?Mariah Carey and No Doubt were on hand for tonights (September 5) NFL kickoff, each act performing their latest singles.

Mariah Carey started off the evenings musical performances with her latest, Triumphant (Get Em). The performance was a real head scratcher. A good portion of MCs performance featured the singing icon in a pre-recorded intro on a jumbotron while rappers Meek Mill and Rick Ross performed their verses. When Mariah finally appeared in the flesh, she sounded winded and drowned out by the backing track.In stark contrast, No Doubts performance of Settle Down was full of energy with no big screen antics needed.

Settle Down is taken from No Doubts new album Push And Shove. The set is due in stores on September 25. Watch the performances below.
