Mariah Carey for X Factor final?
Mariah Carey is reportedly set to perform on the final of The X Factor.
The popstar is replacing Adele, who was rumoured to be on the show but had to pull out following throat surgery.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It was always touch and go with Adele, but we were so hoping she'd make it. She's one of the world's biggest stars.
"But now we're talking to Mariah and hopefully that will come off. If not, we're not exactly short of popular acts for fans to enjoy."
Coldplay, Leona Lewis, Michael Bubl, JLS and One Direction have been confirmed to perform at the final next weekend which will take place at the Wembley Arena.
Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin said of his band's appearance: "We're all big X Factor fans so we're very excited to play live on the show."
