Skeptics eye Mariah Carey's tight tummy
Have you seen singer Mariah Careys diet commercial for Jenny? Wonder if plastic surgery had a part inproducing thattight tummy 6 months after Carey gavebirth totwins at age 41?

Mariah Careysnew stint as the lastest spokeswoman for Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig), so soon after giving birth to twins at age 41, has plastic surgeons familiar with post-pregnancy bodiesand tummy tucks raising their eyebrows.
Dr.John Di Saia, a plastic surgeon in San Clemente and Orange, addressed it in his blog, quoting a reader who asks, Mariah Carey is back on the magazine covers after having her twins. Her stomach is flat and stretch mark free. She claims its because of hard work and dieting but I have my doubts. Is this even possible with having twins at her age?
The plastic surgeon suspects a tummy tuck, along withsome help fromPhotoshop.
His response:
She has shed a whopping 70 poundsin the past six months after giving birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe. And Mariah Careys impressive weight loss is clear to see in a new photo in which she looks super slim and her stomach appears completely flat. But is the singers post-baby tum really as flat as it appears, or has the professionally shot photo benefited from a little help from the airbrush?

Mariah looks really great, but it would [be] unlikely as you have surmised that after a twin pregnancy that likely involved fertility treatments that she could get so flat so fast.
Hes also thinking tummy tuck because of the shape of her belly button, adding, although I like to make a vertical oval as a belly button. It is all a matter of opinion.
He adds,
I am not saying that everyone could get as nice a result as she has had without diet and exercise in the mix. I just do not believe that that was all that was involved in her case. Jenny Craig is not going to want her to talk about surgery even if she would otherwise have been forthcoming. They like the inference they get by doing things the way they have.
And finally Photoshop for the covers? Yeah, why not?
Also firmly in the tummy tuck camp is Dr.Anthony Youn, an oft-quoted plastic surgeon and celebrity watcher.
He writes:
Mariah looks amazing. Her tummy is completely flat and there is no excess skin anywhere, including above her strangely round belly button.
Ive seen a lot of patients whove had twins.Although the population I see for tummy tucks is skewed (people who have excess abdomen skin), I think its highly unlikely that Mariah became as flat and stretch-mark free as she is after having twins without a plastic surgeons help. In addition, her belly button looks like a tummy tuck belly button. I suspect that she underwent a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) a few months ago.
Although its her business whether or not she underwent this surgery, I do think its a bit disingenuous to be a paid spokesperson for a diet plan when youve secretly had body contouring surgery.
Mariah gave birth to her s! on and d aughter via C-section on April 30. She claimsthat she took off the excess weight 40 pounds was water, she says with a 1,500-calorie-a-day menu from Jenny Craig anda workout regimen.
Over at the Angry Trainer Fitness site, Carey drawskudosfor exercising, but then trainer Alfonso Moretti adds:
But I also have to throw this out there did Mariah have a tummy tuck? Let me be clear I have no evidence or insider knowledge to support this theory, but I have my suspicions. For one, during her pregnancy with twins Mariahs belly was HUGE, and I just dont think it could return to its current appearance without some assistance.
Secondly, Careys belly button looks odd, misshaped, and in the wrong place, in fact her belly looks very similar to Kate Gosselins (who admittedly had the surgery). In case you dont know, surgeons basically have to recreate a new belly button during tummy tuck surgeries as they literally cut away inches of excess and stretched skin.
And if you look closely, up near Mariahs hips you can see the tell tale bunny ears, which are creases of skin that bunch up a bit where the skin is sewn back together. Its quite common and Ive seen them before.
