Barrack Obama is back for another four years and it would seem that celeb land is just as chuffed as we are this morning!

Beyonc, Mariah Carey, and Katy Perry are just a handful of celebs who took to social networking to celebrate the news.

Katy Perry has been getting in the spirit since the start and tweeted how 'proud' she was following the result, Katy says:

"The people have the power! Proud to stand by you for 4 more years. RT @BarackObama This happened because of you. Thank you."

Yep, the man himself even took to Twitter to thank fans *ahem* voters, and the message was counted as the most retweeted tweet of all Twitter time, natch.

He later posted: "We're all in this together. That's how we campaigned, and that's who we are. Thank you. -bo"

That's his initials, FYI, he hasn't just suddenly started quoting So Solid Crew at the end of all his messages.

Mariah Carey seemed equally pleased and proud saying:

While Beyonce celebrated by opening an Instagram account (which we are sure we will be stalking) posting the above as her first snap with the message "Take that Mitches"!
