Mariah Carey insists relationship with Nick Cannon is fine

Mariah Carey has always been quite outspoken about how much her pregnancy with twins Monroe and Moroccan wasn't always easy.

That's why recent reports suggesting she's against having any more kids were so believable.

However, she's gone on record to rubbish the rumours, which were reported by The National Enquirer. A supposed insider said: "Nick desperately wants to expand their family and has been pushing Mariah to get pregnantMariah told Nick her career is her baby right now."

First of all, you don't quite make babies by pushing someonewell, it's close, but no cigar.

Secondly, Mariah's spokesperson told Gossip Cop that the reports were "ridiculous". In other, actual news, Mariah has signed up to be the latest American Idol judge and her salary is said to be $17million (11 million).

Nick is all for his wife's new career direction, saying the gig is "amazing", and he's also up to some work of his own - as well as being the host of America's Got Talent, he's hosting a Kidney Foundation fundraiser walk.

He was hospitalised last winter for acute kidney injury and diagnosed with lupus nephritis - a kidney condition - so wants to raise money for the charity.

As well as that, Mariah and Nick still dote as much as ever on "dem babies", posting photos of the 16-month-old toddlers on their website just a few hours ago.

We're glad Mariah's not under pressure to have babies - are there enough silly names beginning with M to go around if she did have more?
